I had an appointment with my chiropractor today. Actually, my mom booked him for me. Around 12.01 PM, he came to my house and set up his stage. (I was pretty nervous at the moment... the last time I was hurt so bad đź’€.) But everything was fine in the end... Aside from body aches. I feel fresh, I feel the lightest I've been this year. So I made a joke with him about how much it hurts during the session, but feels so good afterward.
But yeah, he got a bit angry at me. (Maybe not angry, but his expression looked quite scary.) "It's not my fault," he said. He went on to explain why I hurt so badly... and why it was my fault. He said that since he started massaging, he felt something was strange. He checked my body... And found out that I haven't been spending much time stretching after workouts. My muscles are tight... and that's why I'm in pain. And yeah, that's true. I don't really care about these things because... you know... it's an after-workout thing. And I don’t have much time to do it (an excuse). I don’t want to be late to my classes, but yeah, I was lazy. But it's something everybody should care about. Yet, some people (like me) just ignore it. Because... IT IS AN AFTER-WORK THING! We’ve done a workout... we feel drained... we’re tired... so we just want to go home and lie on the couch. But many people know, if you don’t stretch after a workout... You might hurt yourself later. That's why we shouldn't ignore those after-work things. They're important. The same thing is happening in the world of business. Many people have forgotten the importance of after-work activities, and they might regret it later when it's too late. Here are some examples of those activities: Follow up, read comments, reply to comments, check in with old customers, and send an email to your past customers asking them for reviews, testimonials, or interviews. People you’ve already talked with in the past might later become interested or need your service... But they forgot about you... cuz you never followed up. People who comment on your posts/videos might have an interesting thought that could benefit you and your business... Or they might be a potential client of yours. And replying to comments increases your engagement, leading to more people seeing your posts. People who once bought your product are the most likely to buy again... And they already know how good your product/service is. (That’s why email marketing is so important.) And lastly, ask your customers for a review or even an interview if they’re very satisfied with your product/service. You can use this on your website and your content as social proof... That's you're so amazing. This is why you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT ignore these activities. It's more important and profitable than you think. If you haven't done it yet, let's start today. You will NOT regret. Have a nice day. Your marketing friend, Chayanon Sangkhamfan. P.S.
