My professor wouldn’t let me back into the classroom today. Here’s what happened: After half of the class, he gave us a break. Since I hadn’t eaten lunch yet (thanks to cleaning my room and catching up on morning class notes), I grabbed a quick bite. But here’s the problem... I misunderstood what he meant by “back in 10.” I wasn’t sure if he meant a 10-minute break or to return at 1:10 like we usually do. Turns out… it was the first option. And yep, I missed it. Thankfully, he was kind enough to give me another chance. But the whole thing was on me. Next time, I’ll be more careful... and if I’m unsure, I’ll ask instead of guessing. Speaking of which... I think business owners should tell their stories more often ... in any format. A quick written post. A selfie-style video. Even just a simple photo with a caption. Why? Because the online space is starting to feel a bit boring. These days, a lot of posts look and sound the same. People let AI churn out a generic post, slap on a stock photo, and call it a day... no likes, no engagement, no connection. And when everything blends together, it’s easy for people to scroll right past. Meanwhile, TikTokers and creators share little everyday stories—nothing fancy—and those often get the most attention. Not because the content is “perfect,” but because it’s real. And that’s the point: stories connect. Stories cut through the noise. So if you’re wondering what to post today, don’t overthink it. Share your story... big or small. Someone out there will connect with it. — Chayanon Sangkhamfan P.S. If you feel stuck, here’s an easy place to start: Think about one small moment from your day ... the kind you’d tell a friend if they asked “How’s it going?” It could be a funny slip-up, a question a client asked, or even something you noticed while working. Write 2–3 sentences about it and hit post. That’s it. No polish, no overthinking. Just share it, and watch how people respond. |
